  1. He backed Liz Truss’ mini budget, he backs cuts to disability benefits, he thinks disabled people are being “over diagnosed” with disabilities and conditions, he thinks we still spend too much on the benefits system and favours more tax cuts for the rich.

The sooner we stop treating him like a celebrity to faun over and start raising attention to what he would actually do in office, the better off this country will be.

Privatise the NHS, remove all environmental protections, cut corpo tax by 5%, raise the min threshold to £20k, kick 1m people off disability just ‘cause’, is there a single policy they have that WON’T destroy the UK?

  3. Granite_Outcrop on

I wonder what % of reform voters are benefit recipients (keep in mind, many benefit claimants are not claiming for disability!) & what % of the non-claimants pay enough in taxes to actually be net contributors?

  4. You’d think Reform and Farage would be careful around this, as quite a lot of their voters will be those from impoverished towns and cities who rely on the welfare state after they got gutted from the local industries shutting up shop and offshoring the work.

  5. TheNoGnome on

Farage’s campaign against every possible demographic group that doesn’t include him or his mates continues.

Reform showing there true colours I’m sure tge U.K will do a great job of screwing themselves by letting these cretins in as usual

  7. RickkyBobby01 on

Waiting for all the reform voters to show up and be as critical of Farage wanting to cut benefits as they are of Starmer making the winter fuel payment means tested.

  8. SilenceOfTheMareep on

And yet my dad, who’s disabled and mostly enjoys his life thanks to PIP, still voted Reform in the general election, and no doubt voted Reform in the local one today, because he thinks immigration is a bigger issue for him…which it demonstrably isn’t.

  9. Snaidheadair on

Reform voters won’t care, Farage could shit in their kettle and they’d still use it thinking he’s got their best interest at heart.

  10. I swear he actively wants to destroy the country. Do some people just not read the news and assume his policies are something differet to what he states?

  11. KokoTheeFabulous on

Why does UK keep creating this imaginary immigration problem to such extremes they’ll justify prices like Nigel?

I actually don’t really understand the UKs hyper fear of immigration when generally speaking even if it needs a bit more control it seems like it really keeps the country afloat

I don’t understand how people can see the current state of the world and still think voting for right wing cunts is a good idea

Remember when you could go a single day without seeing a Farage article?

    Those were the days!

  14. This is going to be hilarious if by some utter freak of nature he gets actual power. It will be like Trump in the USA.

The overweight 50+ voter with their blue badge from “RandomEstate”, who doesn’t like “them” coming over here and taking our jobs, and voted to take back control suddenly finds their motability car removed, their hip replacement cancelled, and their benefits cut. “I’d like to work but I’ve got a bad back you see”.

  15. On one hand hid policies will hurt a lot of people.

On the other he says things racists like.

It’s a tough choice for those who are going to lose their benefits.

My neighbour is on benefits and has health problems and constantly in and out of hospital. Guess who I saw on my Ring camera stuffing in Reform leaflets into my letterbox? You guessed it, the some neighbour

He’s a cunt. Somehow, he’s the type of cunt that is always able to grift, move onto the next grift and avoid being bollucked by the government for holding several jobs that could cause conflicts of interest but most likely only doesn’t get bollucked because he never appears.

Hell, if he thought he could get away with doing a full on nazi party and make a shit ton of money off it, he probably would.

  18. Both-Mud-4362 on

He is such a USA puppet. If people are voting for this party they are voting for fascists at this point.

  19. They get a lower rate of inheritance tax and longer to pay it back. They could even form a company an skip inheritance tax completely – although there would be on any inherited shares

  20. As a disabled dude literally currently stuck on the sofa after over doing it physically…. I’ll just leave it at this to protect my Reddit account.

Disgusting, disturbing and flat out pure evil.

  21. wasnt_sure20 on

So he’s pretending to be for the working class but in reality he’s just like the rest of them giving hand-outs to the rich at the expense of disabled people.

  22. WhichAmphibian3152 on

The vitriol against disabled people is so crazy to me because it’s a group that anybody can join at any time. It takes one accident or infection to become disabled and your entire life changes.

  23. ThunderChild247 on

Farage is a grifting sociopath who doesn’t care who gets hurt, as long as his cheque clears and he gets on TV.

I fully suspect that if Trump were allowed to design his own perfect, it would be not unlike We Happy Few. An England stuck in the 60’s, everyone must be happy. Everyone is white. There are no disabled people. There are no LGBT people. There are just “good old fashioned, hard working, sensible British men and women” and everything is perfect because he says it is.

Then he can piss off down the pub and sing Hitler Youth songs to his heart’s content and tell stories about being Enoch Powell’s chauffeur.

  24. Species1139 on

He didn’t support workers rights bill.

Man of the people my arse, unless those people are billionaires.
