Well a nationalist should well know the dangers of nationalism
The SNP is well versed in using nationalist sentiment to promise absolute fantasies.
It’s hilarious people have been tricked to vote for pain and evil.
The policies of reform are massive erosion of employee rights, massive cuts to nhs and benefits, an attack on diversity and work from home, lower standard on food, massive local council cuts and fewer services…but hey something something boat people
What about the threat of unknown illegal migrants that can’t be deported even after criminal activity in the country?
Said by the Scottish **National** Party, a party that peddles falsehoods and straight up lies to stir of their nationalist voter base, reported by the **The National** a Scottish Nationalist rag that does the same.
I’m no Farage or Reform fan, but there is a poetic irony here I can’t not laugh at.
Scotland has much lower levels of migration, the level is about half that of England. So it’s not that surprising that people in Scotland are less worried about the issue. Maybe the UK government could learn the same lesson, if immigration in England was at the same level as Scotland I doubt there would be a groundswell of support for anti immigration parties.
What annoys me beyond measure is that farridge has been afforded so much free media and airspace, compared to other political leaders who have had much greater success.
Reform has 5 seats in Parliament, yet the media treat him as the next big threat to the establishment, which ironically becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, as more people see him on TV and listen to his lies, which then gives him more power.
I see exactly what’s happening here. Because he is a divisive figure, and represents the extreme right wing of British politics, he is being afforded equal, if not greater representation on the political stage. This is what gives him power and influence, and if we’re not careful, he will be taken seriously by a majority of us and get elected as the next world leader.
A man who offers no real solutions to problems, but rather asks troubling questions in a hope to distract attention away from the real issues and fabricate a scapegoat, whilst he sells the country away to America to make a quick buck.
A fascistic charlatan and snake oil salesman who couldn’t give a shit about you or any British person, unless you can give him something of greater value in return.
Interesting that Swinney is focusing on Farage after the English elections. Is this a genuine warning about Farage’s lingering influence, or perhaps a convenient way to deflect from other issues or rally his own base by pointing to an external threat? What do others think?
If you think the USA is going south in a hand cart, imagine what it would be like here with Farage et al aligning with the American far right, learning from their mistakes and accepting their support.

Our government system needs changing to a less corrupt able PR system with fewer short term hurdles.
Create long term sensible policies for education, health and security; designed and administered by experts, agreed by us the people. And task the government with creating an economy to support it.
That’s my pennyworth.
Just release the report into Russian influence in the UK. Should sort itself out. They won’t of course because of the others who have been compromised, but a fella can hope.
