PRISTINA (Kosovo), May 2 (SeeNews) – Germany-based ProCredit Holding said its subsidiary in Kosovo recorded a pre-tax profit of 7 million euro ($7.9 million) in the first quarter of 2025, an increase from a 6.7 million euro profit recorded a year earlier.

    The lender’s customer loan portfolio totalled 920 million euro at the end of March, increasing from 788 million euro a year earlier, ProCredit Bank Holding said in a quarterly statement earlier this week. Customer deposits grew to 1.1 billion euro, from 964 million euro a year earlier.

    ProCredit Bank’s assets increased to 1.3 billion euro at end-March, from 964 million euro a year earlier.

    ProCredit Bank was the fourth largest lender by assets among 11 banks that operated in Kosovo in the third quarter of 2024, according to latest data by Kosovo’s banking association.
