NRK has held a press meet and greet today revealing the full team for Kyle Alessandro’s performance at the Eurovision Song Contest. The team now includes two past Melodi Grand Prix participants: Sondrey (2020 and 2025) and Frode Vassel (2022). The two singers were picked by NRK to join the performance as the vocalists match the pitch, mood and delivery of Kyle Alessandro.
Daniel Grindeland a Norwegian breakdance star and winner of Norwegian championships and international championships, will also feature in the performance. Daniel commented to TV2 that:
“I will enter the stage and will hopefully hit the climax of the song and make the show really take off.”
The changes announced today are the most significant changes to a Norwegian performance from Melodi Grand Prix for a number of years. Traditionally, Norway has brought a near identical copy of their national final performance.
