      Kids wanting to kill each other with hammers and knives is completely normal and not at all a sign of a decadent society, maybe they need to watch the show Adolescence on Netflix.

      I’ve moved to Canada, lived here a while. Met a few people who’ve grown up in other places, like South Africa, England and Australia.

      We all agree there’s something wrong with the youth in the UK. They stand out as specially bad.

      I just can’t see a way out of this that doesn’t involve facististic authoritarian control.

      Labour/the left in general have an opportunity to show they’ll do what’s _right_ by cracking down on massively antisocial behaviour with a degree of humanity.

      But they’ll wank themselves off to their ethics instead, with mindless shit like letting these lads off with a slap on the wrist cos their “brains are underdeveloped” or some other crap.

      And I’ll be honest, a small but growing part of me _wants_ to see that authoritarian control because I genuinely, genuinely want to see the underclass in this country suffer – massively – for the endless shit they put the rest of us through. While we pay for them to live in most cases.

      If they want to beatveach other half to death that’s on them. But don’t ruin a space for kids to play sports.  We just can’t have nice things without little scotes ruining it, can we?

      This kind of thing was a more common 40 years ago, it just had the draping of football hooliganism or skinheads. Like other people here have said: there’s underling problem that creates a larger percentage of feral youths than in other western countries. And the economy isn’t to blame because this was happening even before de-industrialization.
