USC Trojans basketball is one more program hitting the transfer portal hard on campus. Head coach Eric Musselman and company are now adding a new scoring option — one who delivered 18.8 points per game last season.

Jordan Marsh of North Carolina-Asheville is heading to the Land of Troy, Joe Tipton of On3 reported Sunday morning. The now former UNC-Asheville guard himself confirmed he’s heading to the Los Angeles region.

“Let’s do it!” Marsh posted in announcing his transfer to the Trojans.

The 5-foot-10 guard started in almost 30 games last season. Half of those contests watched Marsh drop 20 points or more on the opposition. He even delivered a 33-point outburst against March Madness qualifier High Point — which came on Feb. 8 in the 104-100 overtime loss.

Marsh brings a 44.8 shooting percentage from last year over to USC. He’s also expected to add a long-distance sharpshooter for Musselman. Marsh shot 30.5% from behind the arc.

Marsh won the Big South Newcomer of the Year award for his scoring prowess. But USC won’t be his first transfer landing spot.

The native of Charlotte started his college career with Appalachian State. He managed to play in 32 games but with one start. Marsh averaged 6.2 PPG in a reserve role. The Mountaineers handed him 11.7 minutes per game. He also shot 41.3% from field goal range.

Last season was his first and only time with UNC-Asheville. The Bulldogs went 21-11 and claimed second in the Big South. Winthrop ended their season with an 86-67 rout in the conference tournament.

Now, Marsh gets to taste the power conference realm through USC. He joins former Auburn guard/forward and Final Four representative Chad Baker-Mazara as prized transfers to the Trojans.
