Amy Schumer first fell in love with New Orleans when she was 16 and visiting for a volleyball tournament, she said in a recent video tour of her French Quarter home.

After her comedy career and stardom catapulted and began touring, she always found time to come back to the Crescent City, which she has long said is her favorite city in the world.

So in 2021, Schumer and her husband decided to buy a home in the French Quarter, dubbing it the “Jewel Box,” she told Homeworthy, a home and design website that takes viewers inside notable houses.

Schumer’s chose to live in the French Quarter, steps from Bourbon Street, over luxurious mansions with privacy fences in the Garden District neighborhood. She joins other celebs who have had Quarter pads like Lenny Kravitz, Nicolas Cage and Bratt Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
