    Youth these days have got nothing better to do, these four were roaming late at night and damaging garage doors. Multiple doors around our place got dented and damaged including ours

      Were they always like this or has this only been as of recent? I don’t understand how anybody in their right mind would think it’s a good idea to do this let alone have the thought itself…

      When I used to deliver goods from stores I had this customer who’d tell me not to go to his house after dark, later I found out he would setup all kinds of traps in front of his car and house at night before going to sleep. He was ex-military with multiple tour of duties in Afghanistan and quite damaged from it.

      One of my mates also has very bad PTSD from similar situation and he reacts to loud noises at night with extreme aggression, since it reminds him IEDs.

      I hope for their sake these boys don’t run into people like that.

      Not everything in life is a tasteless jump prank.
      Consequences could be really dark.

      They weren’t damaging them, they where trying to open them to get access to the house, to get the keys and steal the car

      Me and my friends did similar shit when I was a teenager 30 odd years ago. Am I proud of it? No. But at the time my peanut teenaged brain didn’t even give it a second thought and just enjoyed the adrenaline rush.

      Back then in the 80s/90s we did do some dumb shit but it was almost never violent stuff. You see these teenage cunts now with knives and stealing cars, that’s a bit too much

      Youth “these days”? Teenagers have been doing stupid shit since the dawn of time. The only difference now is natural selection doesn’t take the really stupid ones out before they can reproduce.

      Back in the 60s my dad and his mates used to light paper bags full of dogshit on fire on people’s doorsteps. Among other monstrosities.

      Back in my day teenagers would be roaming the streets with a pocket full of firecrackers blowing up letterboxes and garden beds. Kicking a few garage doors sounds pretty low effort. They need to get more creative.

      Shaving foam into open cars windows. Friend had a “Potato canon” and used to launch them from the top of a hill onto houses! Fireworks galore, man those where the days

      I saw drunk Irish adults walking along the street at the weekend and all three of them kicked a roadworks sign that was on the path into a car parked next to it. It must have totally ruined the panel work. There’s plenty of absolute arsehole adults too.

      Ashamed to say I was like this as a teen. Except we dove into peoples bushes and busted them up…. As an adult with my own home, i’d be so furious if it were my bushes. But I didn’t know any better back then. We were usually drunk and didn’t want to be at home, just hanging out all night with our mates just because.
