This pope is 19 years younger than the previous one. That comes with a slightly different world view.
I’m not gonna call the leader of an ultra conservative brotherhood progressive or modern, but relative to the previous one, some new challenges have appeared in the past two decades.
At some point we will have a millennial pope as well. One who knows you can’t pause an online game.

You know what else also poses challenges? Is the Vatican’s opposition to women receiving reproductive healthcare, the Vatican getting in the way of same-sex couples marrying their partner, and the Vatican refusal to employ women in the same jobs they employ men.

All of 2010s was about hyping IT as a fireproof source of employment and indeed, AI is a direct threat to that dignity to be allowed to still work in the fields that are about to be automated by generative coding.
