Hei everyone, a bird has started visiting us, appears to be a white dove and it has recently lost its tail feathers. We are in Oslo.
The bird has a white ring with black lettering:

If anyone can get us in touch with the owner that would be amazing, the poor thing has a limp and doesn’t contend well with our local magpies 🙁

This looks like the sort that gets unkindly released at weddings for some reason. Unlikely to survive in the wild.
We adopted one in the UK minus its tail feathers that had been ripped out by the native birds. Its mate was lying dead on the path next to it having not survived the onslaught.
Their tail feathers grow back remarkably quickly.
