Not sami. Now she’s just a girl, sometimes named “Iselin”. The previous logo was a girl in more traditional inuit clothing, and the girls name then was “eskimonika”.

She used to be called “Eskimonika” up until [a few years ago](https://www.nrk.no/sapmi/diplom-is-endrer-logo-_-hylles-av-sametingspresidenten-aili-keskitalo-1.15271919), when they realised this was somewhat inappropriate for a brand maskot in Norway. They changed her to be more modern like in your picture and removed the name, but 90 year old branding takes some time to get rid of I guess.

If you were here before ca. 2010, Toro Krydderiet used to be called [Black Boy](https://no.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Boy) and the old logo was a [black African boy](https://images.app.goo.gl/oy4cYZEMQkMF4n8a8).
[Hindu Krydder](https://images.app.goo.gl/D8VTUS79R6w5AZng9) still has a brown boy as its logo.
