Hello! I would like your help for the following issue:
I have an account at Eurobank that has been locked for years, and I can’t get into ebanking. I live abroad and I have an external VAT. The account has a balance, but now with the new bank’s program they will start charging monthly maintenance costs, so I want to close it.
My question is: Can I close it on my next trip to Greece if I make an appointment at the bank? Should the account be activated first so that it can close? If so, can the documents needed to activate (have I put a picture of the documents they ask for) can be in English or is it required to be officially translated into Greek?
If someone has gone through something similar or knows the process, I would very much appreciate any help or advice!

Με ταλαιπώρησαν κι εμένα πάρα πολύ όταν εργαζομουν στο εξωτερικό και απαιτουσαν να έρθω Ελλάδα για ραντεβού σε υποκατάστημα. Τελικα όταν ήρθα το τακτοποίησα σε κατάστημα. Αν θέλεις να το κλείσεις δεν χρειάζεται τίποτα άλλο εκτός από ταυτότητα ή διαβατήριο. Αν θέλεις να τον διατηρήσεις θέλει όλα τα δικαιολογητικά που ζητάνε.
