Found the results to be very suspicious. I just don’t see Israel being the second most voted act in Ireland of all places – here I can understand, but Ireland? I dunno seems fishy.

It was a forgettable song with no real pomp or flash. Eurovision is a show, not a song contest, in reality and we need to go hard on the performance aspect.

I thought they UK song was pretty awful tbh. Just a repeat of the same sentence over and over again to a disjointed tune.

What’s the theory on the votes? Autodialers? Also how does anyone care about Eurovision that much.

It’s always been ‘political’, but that just seems a bit suspicious.

Second year running it feels like the public vote is being abused. If we went entirely on public, it would mean Israel would have won the past two by considerable distances. No offence to either act (Eden last year was actually really good, this year was quite bland) but that’s not reflecting what went on stage.
Feel sorry for Switzerland, Denmark and Uk that were all top 10 acts getting nothing (second year on bounce for Uk).
Nobody minds dodgy voting as it’s cheeky. This doesn’t feel cheeky but a little dark. It’s turning the show toxic, as again we are seeing young girls representing Israel being booed, having protestors try to force stage and needing extra security for…singing.
It’s going against the spirit

Don’t forget you can vote a maximum of 20 times.
What could possibly go wrong.

just don’t let Israel compete until they stop killing and displacing people. seems like it’d be way less of a headache for everyone

Highly recommend [Gabe ESCs](https://youtu.be/Jrza3mL-Yys?feature=shared) video on how Israel and Azerbaijan exploit the contest if anyone’s interested in how involved the government is with Eurovision.

So the United Kingdom is despised, hated and detested far more than Israel by Europe’s judges and the European population.

I have so many thoughts.
Firstly. No. The results were not rigged. The pro-Israel vote was highly concentrated. And the Jewish diaspora is throughout Europe. So it makes sense that they score highly. They have done nothing “wrong” in that sense. However it goes against the spirit of the contest
With that being said we now have a SERIOUS problem where it looks like Israel could win the televote every single year.
We also have issues where Israel are buying ads for their song EVERYWHERE. Even on the official youtube stream of the show. Thats not right. And Eurovision should stop it
Im also really dissapointed how much the contest has swung away from the ballads. UK, France, Switzerland and Netherlands all BOMBED hard in the televote. We’ve gone too far to “yas queen slay” and novelty in recent years. And i do think it has impacted the quality and reduced it quite a bit. For me it was the worst year since 2008

I find it interesting that croatia was the only country that didn’t give them a point, like why them? They the only country not supporting Israel right now? Or did they just not get those adverts

This show has always been a political fix, no idea why people still bother with it.

Fair play to Austria. It’s a shame UK’s Remember Monday didn’t do better than last year’s entrant, Olly Alexander, his Gentleman’s toilet performance was obscene. The girls deserved to come a lot higher than that.

We actually did well with juries and we got our first 12 points in 2 years
so naturally the media focuses on our 0

I think its worth mentioning all the protesters wouldnt vote either way. All those “turn the tv off” “why is spot 4 empty” just dont vote and they think theyre chancing anything. The only real way to change anything is to spend the money to vote but oh well lol. Lets watch israel win next year. I was fully sure Austria will win from the start bcuz its jury bait song and was right. I dont think ill vote next year and itll end up with Israel actually winning probably but welp
