      I don’t think that this map is correct. Most of the times the surveys are held by pro western organizations. Positive perception of US has been declining for years, I personally know a lot of people who were pro US/West and have leaned towards neutrality after what happened to Ukraine and how US want Ukrainians to just give up their land

      They get a lot of money from fake NGOs like USAID. Even on the Tax authority website is the USAID logo 🤣 see rs.ge

      Several factors, to be honest. 1 – The American dream. If not every second, every third person will tell you about their dream to start something in New York or LA. Everyone has this fantasy of US being a land of dreams coming true (and although it does have more opportunities than Georgia, I think some Americans and even Georgians disagree with it, idk).
      2. – Rival of USSR/Russia. Enemy of my enemy is my friend.

      If not USA, ruzzia would swallow us again. That’s the reason. But unfortunately things changed..

      I have negative opinions on USA and I am Georgian. I mean, I don’t like the American government especially now and never have really.

      Because the US has helped us a lot over the years, by giving us aid when we needed the most in the 90s, by safeguarding the international recognition of our territorial integrity, by strengthening our army, by advocating us joining the Nato in mid 2000s( blocked by Europe by the way, got to get that cheap oil from Russia and join the Gazprom after retiring from politics that’s the European way). We also can’t overstate the cultural influence the US has in this country.

      We need the US, they are also going through some weird times and they’ve made many mistakes in the past as well, but still, they have been the most reliable ally all things consider for decades

      Usa has done lots of bad things to countries,but georgia isnt on that list,lots of us led and guided reforms have helped many people
