      I think there’s more images in this post than there are pixels in each image.

      This is interesting data, but it’s almost impossible to identify any trends. Consider a line chart, so the characters’ positions can be compared, and either run it by year or with a moving average to smoothe out the noise. If you stick to a monthly grain, you may need some kind of seasonal adjustment.

      Chel îs the only nut-worthy cartoon character. Legend has it we actually got a watered-down version, as the original sketches were considered “too sexy”.

      Ignoring previous entries doesn’t really have the intended effect of revealing other trends; it makes it impossible to discern trends at all since each entry will only ever appear in one month.
