      >The senior engineer from Fujitsu was a key architect of the flawed IT system which ran in every Post Office across the UK, and he provided expert evidence in several court cases testifying that the system was robust.

      >However, despite raising these doubts over Mr Jenkins’ testimony, Mr Clarke advised the Post Office that the information did not have to be disclosed to lawyers representing Mrs Misra.

This is going to go on forever. They may use terms like inquiry, appeal and retrial, but it is all just a carousel of post office staff and post office lawyers saying, “I didn’t know”, “I was misled”.

Just look at the Wikipedia section titles:

      Investigating Post Office IT problems

      Exposing the IT problems

Bates & Others v Post Office Ltd

      Appeals against convictions

      Exoneration

      Redress and compensation

      Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry

      Criminal investigation

      Regulatory action

Call for reform on digital evidence.

… And we are years away from finishing. Next year it’ll be…

“At the 2024 inquiry you said …”

      “I don’t recall”.
