Crypto is democratizing finance. Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. Yes, Trump and other grifters/scammers will try to exploit the unknowing, but also, Afghan women under Taliban control use blockchain tech to exchange services for value amongst themselves. The UN used crypto to aid Ukraine because of the speed, transparency, and accessibility. UNICEF is providing a digital wallet for refugees in eastern Africa in order to circumvent the financial and safety challenges of crossing borders.
