A surprise Ukrainian drone attack is being described as “Russia’s Pearl Harbor” by some commentators, after 41 military aircraft were hit on Sunday.
Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) said on Sunday that “enemy strategic bombers are burning en masse in Russia”, saying that Ukraine is conducting “a large scale special operation aimed at destroying enemy bomber aircraft,” Euro News reported.
Russia already claimed Japan’s attack on Port Arthur was “Russia’s Pearl Harbor”

Excluding that, no competent Air Force can just leave their planes sitting on the tarmac anymore for a start. Every military will have to think of how to mitigate an attack like this. Crazy stuff.

Russia started this war and has continued it for years. They can’t have a “Russian Pearl Harbor” because of the type of things that make Pearl Harbor, Pearl Harbor. No sneak attack for one.
This title doesn’t take into account that Russia attacked Ukraine and began the war. Hawaii was attacked by the Empire of Japan which started the war.
So in this version of Pearl Harbor the United States had already invaded Japan two years ago earlier and also Japan was just sitting around and didn’t want to fight?
