Maybe other large retailers should consider the same….Wal-Mart etc. I’m thinking recurring baby purchase items for young families (diapers, baby food, etc)

We only buy non USA products at Costco and we end up still buying a lot.

    3. This is really big news, because Costco can make or break a product’s success. The fact they’re looking for local options instead of just passing on the tariff or even threaten to leave Canada altogether is very telling. Donald is about to take another massive L here.

    4. What tarrifs? There aren’t any tarrifs for goods entering canada Carney secretly took them off

    5. The irony is Costco, Walmart, Home Depot, etc. are not Canadian franchises. They are American owned subsidiaries. So even if they stock pile their shelves with Canadian products, a margin of the profits still make their way to the US. Nobody in Canada is that serious about “sticking it to the American economy” and keeping money out of American pockets as long as they continue to shop at these retailers. Judging by the parking lots that are filled to capacity 7 days a week, Canadians clearly are not that serious. They’re more talk than walk.

Costco, objectively the most Palatable American company to give your money.

    7. Will galen weston do something good also?

      Nope.

Loblaws, fortinos, superstore, and the other weston stores have been raising prices, including on Canadian products.

I am willing to pay up to TWO dollars for a hot dog and a pop, if that’s what it takes.

Give us some Canadian onions and carrots please!

I already switched from buying American red onions at Costco to buying Canadian shallots.
