I think they mean “Self-appointed Mars Expert” Robert Zubrin.
You know what blows my mind? For decades now one of the biggest problems with NASA was the timelines it takes to actually do something not fitting nicely with administration changes. So Everytime a new President would come in he’d axe the plans of the previous administration and say we’re going to do something different.
This happened alllll the way up until Biden finally stopped it. Trump had thrown out Obama’s Mars ambitions and said “Nah, Moon. We’re going to the Moon instead.
Because what president wants to be in office while a mission started by the previous administration succeeds? But Biden was willing to not be prideful and just keep Trump’s plan. Whatever, screw it. Let’s just make it happen.
Then Trump gets elected after him, and what *absolute cinema* happens?

Yall think its just the Mars mission in jeopardy? How much does NASA already depend on SpaceX to get missions of all kinds to orbit? Astronauts to the ISS? Between this and the budget cut nightmare thats unfolding in congress I am already thinking of NASA as a dead agency. Welcome to the dark ages.
Seriously, so what? Ask me years ago and I was so gung ho for Mars exploration. Now, I’d just like to be able to afford living. Healthcare would be nice too, I can’t afford that.
