I don’t think anyone should be too surprised. After once again Labour having a 39,000 vote lead, its to be expected that they are basically at square one again. I cant imagine the next replacement would be any better until maybe Roberta Metsola ?
This probably rules out metsola since her term ends in 2027.
The obvious frontrunner right now is Alex Borg which if elected I fear will get backlash from the liberal side of the party

This is too funny. Nationalist wanting Metsola and believe she could save the party, and labour supporters being happy that he’s resigning, instead of keeping him there to increase the gap. Seems that stupidity is increased by fanaticism.
