      So a 2.5 year sentence (that means out by next christmas) for sexually assaulting a minor and likely scarring her for life

      Two and a half years. Sentencing is a joke in this country. Our judges are corrupt.

      This is every girl and woman’s absolute worst nightmare. When I was pregnant I was terrified of answering the door for this very reason (sexual assault likelihood increases when pregnant, and you just feel very vulnerable.) especially as my husband works night shift so a food delivery in the evening genuinely has me on edge. Now with my baby girl it makes me nervous as well, sometimes I turn the volume up on YouTube if there’s a male talking so it gives the vibes of a man in the house 🥲

      I know it’s far and few between, but then you see something like this and it just resets the fear. Being violated like this in your own home which should be a safe sanctity is so horrendous and so evil. That poor poor girl.

      I hope this gets referred to the Attorney General for review of the sentence. It does sound unduly lenient

      Would it be unreasonable to ask who they were working for when they made the delivery? The article tells us which town they lived in, and what they were delivering. But not who decided to send them out to do the delivery.

      2.5 years. For a crime like this that is not justice. As a farther to a girl a sentence like that would have me wondering do I bother involve the authorities at all….
