What’s the motivation? Are you interested in trains as trains, or more in travel and transit? What’s been the most scenic route or part of the country? What’s the most interesting ride or car you’ve been in?
I’m getting a rail pass for Hokkaido next spring. Which lines are the best up there, in your opinion?
