you literally could not have made this stuff up. if you wrote a short story about this told someone with no knowledge of events it is fiction, and then when they’ve read it tell them its a true story there is no way they would believe you

    >According to data from the Home Office, Ministry of Justice, and the counter-terror policing network, 870 people have been convicted of terror offences since 7/7.

    >550 of those have already been released onto Britain’s streets – either on licence or because their sentences have expired.

    >Sources have indicated to LBC that around 300 of the freed convicts refused to enrol in deradicalisation programmes in prison, adding to concerns about the potential risk to communities across the UK.

“are you still gonna be a terrorist? ”

*”YES* you *(hateful slur) allah hu akbar”*

    “ok then off you pop”

I relation to Abdallah, he served his full sentance and was never convicted of any involvement in the Manchester bombing, even if he was a friend of the guy that did it. So that has nothing to do with anything

Without knowing the case details of each of the 550 its just sensational headlines

    So, what’s the alternative?

If criminals have completed their sentence then they’re free to rejoin society. If the prison system works as intended they should be rehabilitated and if not, and they re-commit a crime, they are processed again.

    This is clown shoe journalism

    >As they vacated the area, Abdallah was heard whistling toward The Crime Agents team.

But LBC certainly knows their audience

I can never ever describe the feeling the following day, walking through the City Centre, armed police, an echo of complete grief. I was coming home from a nightshift & had to ring my mum to sob.

Its disgusting these people are treated as low level criminals.

In the uk according to the MI5 there’s roughly 43k people on the terrorist watch list of which 3k being of very high interest so this doesn’t surprise me at all

Death penalty for murderers, rapists and ANYONE involved in terrorism

This reminds me that the Manchester Arena bombers were part of a known radical group (LIFG) who our government allowed to travel back and forwards from Libya because it suited our foreign policy objectives to have them going over there to cause chaos.

The investigation into the arena bombing conveniently ignored this, and failed to examine the link between British intelligence and these terrorists.

I’m not sure if they’re bots or just people completely detached from British values such as the rule of law and rehabilitative justice.

Criminals are released from prison when they complete their sentences.

Arguing that the death penalty should be used 1000s of times each year is not normal.

  11. Thank god the government bends over backwards to keep terrorists on the street. I don’t know how I could sleep at night if the people who want to kill us all were being locked up. Thank god the UK is standing up for the rights of terrorists
