Probably won’t be a whole life order, but the three attempted murders and other charges might push it quite close.

The BBC has an in depth article on the rampage this psycho went on which includes footage from the police officers’ bodycams. Warning: it’s alarming.
He injured 2 police officers as well and stormed into a young family’s home, attacking the father. Horrifying. I can’t imagine they’d let someone like him out of prison/mental health facilities ever?
Saw the footage. Highlights how little our police are equipped. Pepper spray and a baton versus a samurai sword?
My thoughts with anyone affected

A prime example as to why cannabis use absolutely should not be legalised.

With this type of thing, the fact there’s video evidence and multiple accounts. I just feel why did we scrap the death penalty. The guy is a waste of space and ruined multiple lives.
I hope he gets a whole life order.

Poor kid. Reading the BBC article the murderer seems to have been completely fucking bonkers. Not that it changes anything.

God that poor young boy, he must have been terrified! I’d assumed at the time that someone had spilled out of their house in the middle of an episode and attacked the first person he saw, not driven all the way from Newham, no less sad, just seems a bit more tragic.

We have ARUs but unfortunately for situations like this seconds matter so I personally think all officers should be trained to use firearms.

Don’t ever forget that when they wrote about this poor little boy’s MURDER
The Sun referred to him as, “Sword Lad”.
Now either you can take that as them trying to be ambiguous about his role in the situation or them trying to make a shit joke, but either way they are pieces of shit.

This breaks my heart. That poor little boy. His poor family. Losing a child is already traumatic but to lose them in such a horrifying and violent way, I can’t even imagine.

If people were allowed to be armed he would’ve been stopped in seconds rather than relying on the police who are only armed with hurty words.

I can’t believe how long it took for police to apprehend this psycho at the scene.

I feel utterly sorry for the kid and his family, plus anyone injured in this attack. But I find it interesting how this seemed to be kept out of the limelight, only heard about it till I watch new at 10 tonight. If it was a different attacker from a different background it would have been all over the place and in all the news. Really shows how biased this country is when it comes to criminals.

Seeing the body cam footage, you can’t knock the bravery of the police dealing with this horrendous situation.
