I’m from Ireland and was just wondering how his singing career never really took off.
I feel he is unknown outside of Norway/Sweden.
I heard there was mismanagement and other personal issues prior to his death in 2006.
I know he was one of six singers picked to preform the world premier of “You Raise Me Up” by Rolf Løvland but unfortunately that never happened. I always wondered why the people closed to him professionally failed him. Was there confidence issues when it came to the world stage?
Please understand I do not want to insult him I am just interested to know more as to how such an amazing singer slipped through the net. Tusen takk.

His voice deserved a bigger success.
He had a decent career.
Wasnt he always on drugs tho?
I think he was just alive at the wrong time + all the personal issues he had held him back.
Had he been alive today he would have had the benefit of social media and the global rumor mill for exposure.
