This is part of how an economy stagnates. Look I’m not saying people losing their job is good, but if we want our country to succeed we need to be willing to break a few eggs. When people talk about “new industries” etc where does the labour force come from? Nowhere?

They were never going to shut the plant, they wanted some government money is all. I’m a consultant and they were hitting me up for what they’re investing lol

Hopefully they invest in EV versions of their sports cars rather than that daft SUV otherwise we’ll just get back here again in a few years
