    Interesting, but a void of 1B ly radius is 285 Mpc which is crazy huge. And I don’t believe galactic density supports that. Also, of this were the case, then the Hubble Tension would be biased towards a direction *unless* we were near the center of said void, which would be highly coincidental. But the Hubble Tension exists equally (within margin of error) in all directions.

    My money is on variable light speed.

    Through dark matter it “slows” as it passes through the medium and through the voids it is unencumbered.
