Right out of the fascists playbook, prey on the impressionable and vulnerable, exploit their fears and insecurities, blaming them on ‘others’, while at the same time using historical revisionism and an idealised picture of ‘us’ to foster racism and division.
We’ll only see more of this type of radicalisation until we address the root causes of the problem.

I am as anti-immigration as it gets. But violence is not the answer and this kind of behaviour shouldn’t be tolerated. Hope he receives a long sentence.
