Figure AI Founder Says There Will Be As Many Humanoid Robots As People – In time, ” the humanoid robot will be the ultimate vector for AGI” Adcock said.
The company already has robots mingling with humans at its offices, asking employees if they want water or coffee, or simply patrolling the premises, he said. So, it’s not hard to imagine a time when “you’ll see as many humanoid robots as you see humans,” he said. “It’s literally going to feel like a sci-fi movie.”
The real draw, though, is that “the humanoid robots will be the ultimate deployment vector for AGI,” he said.

Right. Of course this means for every 10 poors each rich has 10+ robots while poors have none

On a large enough time scale humans almost certainly go extinct. If one robot exists anywhere, that’s more than humans.

“Owner and majority stockholder of humanoid robot company says there will be eventually as many humanoid robots as humans.”

It’s all nonsense. Robots and AI do not generate value/profit, human labour does. And that makes the latter irreplaceable. If only working class humans banded together and demanded compensation for that labour, things would be different, that’s the whole house of cards at play here.

Yeah factories will definetly get them for some tasks and the military are bound to try as well but I think we are more likely to go extinct than ever get to an irobot style future.
