This is a very concerning story for a lot of reasons. I’m worried about *Susan* being a care worker though. She has shown a repeated history of willing deception and compounding lies over medical procedures. She has failed to be honest and truthful at every stage of this process, and has certainly shown nothing akin to attrition or accountability. Should she be someone who is able to continue to work in the care profession?

    >She was bailed and the lead police force on this confirmed there is no active investigation at the moment.

So is she still on bail or has she been released with no further action? That isnt very clear at all.

  3. Would it be unrealistically optimistic to think that the human trafficker might be deported?

Fair play to the children’s care worker who went to Nigeria to check out the “hospital” the baby was born in

It’s nice to know the little girl is settled well with her foster family, sad she’ll never know her real mother though

Human trafficking really feels like a case where the visa should be immediately revoked and her sent home.
