What a nice PR Message. Reducing a person who helps them work and serve more customers beyond their location(s) is reduced to "a rider" and they thought people would laugh at this cheap joke.

Of course they deleted it following the bigger backlash, but surely won’t be forgotten

    couriers are a big part of what made them so successful – extremely shitty thing to do, that post felt more like attention/clout seeking more than anything. Cringe.

    The courier is the customer’s proxy, if the customer is allowed to use the toilet, the courier should be as well. This is a really bad look for Hermanos.

    It is quite disappointing for Hermanos to be so blatant with their disregard for these people, who have become crucial to their current business model. Their customers are eating at home, won’t be using their bathrooms, and won’t be leaving their rubbish at their venue. Giving the “riders” some humane respite should be bloody obvious.

    Bolt driver using toilet = toilet dirty = more hours for cleaning = less productivity for food ordering = not feasible to import Indian staff with 4 euro an hour as profits decreases = I don’t care about public opinion let’s get this straight through Facebook….

    Not to be racist or anything as its not the intention… I once had random dude coming in at the garage I worked in. Hesitating to take a sh*t.
    Asking frantically, they were 4 in a car… I gave pity and gave him the key.

    20 min later he flushed, went out and spead away.

    Total mess in the toilet, nasty paprika curry smell and I had to bleach the mess.

    The least he could do is apologise and buy me a gallon of bleach.

    Until anyone that is talking bad at these for complaining, gets to clean after the mess, hush it down.

    There has to be decency from both sides, or at least ask them to pay to use the bathroom. If you make a mess at home you have to clean it.

  17. I dont get it, yes they are working as delivery drivers , but even taxi drivers go to public once or where they buy lunch. Its already bad enough they get over a 30% cut plus to pay wolt and bolt orders. What is wrong with them Denying drivers to use hermanos facilities?

The message is tone deaf and a PR fuck up but I challenge anyone to remain positive and open minded to couriers (who deserve adequate facilities for their needs OF COURSE, but at whose cost?) after cleaning somebody elses nuclear disaster in their own toilet. Easy acting all magnanamous from behind a keyboard, reality might not be so straightforward…

    I buy a lunch for my team each Friday and I’ve ordered Hermanos quite a lot.

    I won’t be making another order, they wouldn’t be even half as successful without the courier services and this is just completely disrespectful
