You are spending 6 days driving Oslo/Bergen? Granted, it is not of the most dry and pristine roads then, but that sounds like your car might be fueled by snails?

Do you plan on driving the entire route at once/the same day, or are you planning on stretching it across several days (and this is just the *route* you’re considering)?

Do you want to visit those places in particular, or did you just want to make a loop?

      .

I drove part of that stretch in April, and there are some utterly *breathtaking* stretches a bit off your route. But even just *one* of those suggestions could easily add *hours* of driving, so…. ┐(ツ)┌

Perfectly feasible. I would try a different route after departing Geiranger though. Jotunheimen and then Valdres probably. Otherwise it will be just a boring drive down the E6 from Otta onwards.
Enjoy Eldrevatnet on your drive to Bergen. For some reason, it’s relative … desolation makes it one of my favorite places in Norway.

It would be a shame not passing through Trollstigen when you are relatively close to it already. From my most recent trip, in my opinion the top of Trollstigen during evening hours, a few km before the road even starts, was probably the best sight of the trip. This does add some driving time even if you wouldn’t make any long stops, but I would definitely reconsider. Driving through Beito instead of E6 back to Oslo is also worth it, very scenic.

And in case you are considering taking a ferry with the car, Kaupanger to Gudvangen fits nicely to the route, and in my opinion is a little nicer than Geiranger. You do skip Flåm and Lærdalstunnelen, but you can easily backtrack for the former after you land in Gudvangen.

If you’re interested in waterfalls, the most spectacular one I’ve seen is Vøringsfossen. It’s not on your route, but I think it is only about a one hour drive from Vossevangen (toward the southeast).

The route on Rv 13 and Rv 7 also includes an impressive bridge across Hardangerfjord, a drive along the fjord and passes through the town of Eidfjord.
