These are the really important things we must do, the world is collapsing around us but this is hugely important, never mind that, come the ice age which will occur in about 50 years, the survivors will all be wearing furs because there’ll be no factories in Vietnam knocking out cheap clobber, strewth…

Mnn yes more micro plastics please. I really want more clothes with shitty synthetic fabrics that breakdown but don’t decompose, while being worse than natural options.

Why is fur always such a target. It’s asnine compared to the other stuff we do to animals like battery chicken farming. Yeah it’s not nice, that’s why the alternatives are there. Same with vegan leather. Problem is that they’re just not as good.

Think we’ve got more important things to worry about than forcing us to have even more crap synthetic alternatives to natural products tbh

They need to crack down on mislabeling.

The cheapest “fake fur” products, like hats with fur pom-poms or fluffy keyrings, sold on Amazon and from some high street shops are likely to actually be real fur. Horrifyingly, if the manufacturer doesn’t care about welfare standards, then real fur is cheaper than fake.

  6. It’s a shame that Jones won’t afford humans the same dignity they performatively seem to wish for animals.

  7. What’s so wrong with fur trade that isn’t wrong with meat trade‽ Seems highly arbitrary.

Let’s all use more plastic instead…who needs natural materials when you can destroy the earth with micro plastics?
