Turns out this was always a grift and amusing to watch how many people fell for it yesterday.
I do find the idea that dressing in a full Union Jack dress is, like, traditional British attire a bit funny. Like that’s what all our ancestors wore in Dickensian times.
I’m sure if we all pull together and try really hard, we can get another week out of this saga

The dress seemed similar to the one that the Spice Girls had during the 90s Cool Britannia era. Idk this country always seems to have had a weird relationship with its flag in ways that I don’t think other countries seem to have had.

Anyone actually read the speech she wanted to make? It’s no wonder the school told her not to make it. Especially since it was just something she’d decided to do, no part of that event was for the kids to write speeches.
