Maybe they should have read the bill and not just passed it

I do wish that somehow at the end of this, NASA keeps their funding and are able to move on from the SLS. It’s old tech that Congress has forced them to use due to jobs in certain districts.
Wishful thinking, but maybe musk’s beef with Trump will cause Trump to reconsider the SLS program and allow NASA to actually innovate on a new platform.

How does he plan on getting his golden dome without collaborating with NASA?

NASA shouldn’t have obeyed in advance and fired thousands of employees. Canceling [19 active scientific missions](https://www.planetary.org/articles/nasa-2026-budget-proposal-in-charts) is idiotic and I’m glad even Republicans see it. Hopefully they won’t burn to the ground at least those missions that have already been launched and for which taxpayers have already paid more than 90% of their cost.

Let me guess. Congress is going to take the threat “seriously” before giving Trump exactly what he wants. Susan Collin’s will be very concerned while doing the administration‘s bidding.

Trump wants all the money to himself and his specialized interests. Congress has to do more than just stunts to keep President doing what he wants, no matter what will of the people or his friends.

None of these people in Congress are on our side. They clearly think of us as moronic peasants.
