I would imagine the Barclays brothers are squeaky clean, given what their paper is publishing.
In case people are wondering relevance, there are reasons why they publish these stories, so you go after groups which don’t include them.
Used to work in a bank. People would borrow from friends / family, leave it in their account for a few months, get a statement as proof of funds for their visa, then give the money back.
Some used to get annoyed when the withdrawal showed on their statement, and would ask if we could just remove it.. 🙄
Not surprised to see its Mirpur. That region is rife with shady visa consultants and the whole city pretty much runs on remittances from the UK.
