    1. More reasons to avoid them during holidays and prepare yourself for off season, my favorite time is September/ October, or early May.

      Why always compare things from this part of Europe to Western European things? Calling Tatras the “Polish Alps”, calling Warsaw “Paris of the North”, calling a whole area in Czechia “Czech Switzerland”. Tatras are Tatras. We have our own identity and we don’t need comparison to “better” things.

      Polish Tatras consist of like 10 peaks and 3 valleys. Overtourism is kiling it.

    4. It’s not mention why this is happening but my guess is shitty weather. Usually summer is mostly reserved for Bałtyk (domestic trips only), but this year due to shitty and rainy weather many tourists decided to travel south instead of north. Wish they showed which months saw largest increase (again, just my guess would be June/July).

      Wish we could see data from the coast and see if this is true on a larger scale: outflow of beach tourist towards mountains.
