The government will continue to scratch its head when wondering why Reform are leading the polls.
Maybe call Farage a nonce? Yeah that’ll work.

Everyday I feel this government are purposefully edging people closer to reform.
In no way do I agree with trumps ways but he has shown that if you want to do something about immigration then action can be taken (even though his action is absolutely fucking insane).
What needs to be done instantly is to crush these gangs who prey on these people and take them across the channel, imprison and destroy their bases/equipment. Then patrol the waters more aggressively and escort any boats that do come through back to the mainland and destroy the boat.

Yet we are making, sorry… Made it harder for legal migration but they don’t care about the boats.
Madness.

So 50k?
Like that’s a lot but its nowhere near the migrants numbers being bandied about.
It’s almost like we should probably be clear to differentiate asylum seekers, students and folk on work visas.

[A reminder that in 2018, 200 people crossed on small boats in two months, and it caused the Home Secretary to have to come home from a holiday, declare a ‘major incident’ and hold crisis meetings.](https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-46705128)

>boat crossings are only a small number of immigrants! Why all the attention!
[Boat crossings alone account for more people than immigration from all sources for some years in the 90s](https://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/01/15/24B8F11F00000578-0-image-a-6_1421331318123.jpg), its not a small figure, its just small in proportion to the insane levels net immigration has grown to.
