The city of Kyiv has declared August 1 a Day of Mourning. Sumy is joining in solidarity

On this day, flags on all municipal buildings in the city will be flown at half-mast. It is also recommended that state flags be lowered on buildings of both public and private bulldogs as well. All entertainment events are prohibited in the city on August 1, according to the statement.

Sumy, a city that is a target of frequent bombings, announced that their city will observe a Day of Mourning, showing support to the people of Kyiv.
