      > In one case Sky News broadcast a feed of Mr Farage “interviewing” party chairman Zia Yusuf about the Online Safety act.

      > In the same broadcast, Reform played Sky News’ interview of Tech Secretary Peter Kyle on their feed – meaning Sky was broadcasting its own interview, but through Reform’s live feed.

      The press no doubt report on hot topics, and if they use this sub as a barometer, its no surprise he’s a hot topic as you and loads of other people post about him multiple times per day.

      Reform and Farage are a hot topic on the United Kingdom sub. Fact.

      Lib Dems? Who? I rarely see anything about them on the UK sub.

      If you don’t want the press to discuss him, maybe start by not mentioning him and posting Reform articles ten times per day and injecting him into non related articles.

      As much as I hate to pander to Farage, Labour need to make a drastic change to get a grip of illegal immigration or were going to get a reform government that doesn’t have the first clue how to run anything.

      I wonder if Europe as a whole decides to redesign our obligations to asylum seekers given how much the system is being abused.

      The problem here seems to be not that Nigel Farage has appeared on Sky News, but that Sky News have rebroadcast the content of a political party under the guise of ostensibly unbiased, or at least not directly politically affiliated, ireporting of news? So an analogous situation would be Panorama running a party political broadcast by Labour or the Lib Dems, rather than merely giving a platform to a controversial politician by interviewing them or covering their speech.

      It’s annoying that Farage gets the airtime he does and other politicians don’t. Reform has 5 seats for Christs sake, where is this level of coverage for the Lib Dem’s? The third biggest party in the country.

      Or even the Greens, who have the same number of seats as Reform?

      That’s why I will never buy it when right wingers try and tell me that mainstream media in this country has a “left wing bias”. If that were true, we’d never see Farage all the time and we’d see way more of Corbyn and Sultana. But we don’t do we? That’s because mainstream media doesn’t have a left wing bias, it has a right wing bias.

      Because a lot of it is owned by billionaires who have a vested interest in Farage becoming PM because despite what Farage wants to tell you, that’s who he actually represents, not the working class.

      The media in this country is absolutely fucked. Maybe Farage wouldn’t be polling so highly if the media didn’t massively over-represent him.

      I was listening to some newspaper’s podcast the other week (think it was the times, can’t entirely remember) but they were saying it was a mystery why the Lib Dem’s got so little coverage, as if that wasn’t just because they just decide not to give it to them. “Why do we keep refusing to cover the third largest party in parliament? Such a mystery”.

      That would seem to be an obvious breach of impartiality, but OFCOM won’t do anything.

      He’s on LBC almost weekly. Quite how any media outlet can justify the amount of airtime this gobshite consumes is beyond me. Can’t remember when I last saw or heard a lib Dem or Green party member on air – both of which have greater public representation in the commons

      What the Lib Dem’s and greens don’t get is, being ‘charismatic’ or having a personality that grabs eyeballs, is more important than policy.

      Get a leader or a prominent figure in your team that is an absolute dream, and you’ll soon get air time.

      We are in the world of TikTok and 30-sec headline politics. Nobody cares about competent.

      Ugh. Left wing nutters still blaming Conservatives. Labour have had a YEAR. A whole year. And there is no improvement. In fact, it’s getting worse. And using our hotels to house these unknown leeches.

      Reform will be our next Government. Why? Because the left are relying on blaming a past government for this governments failings.

      How does this play out? Do we give them until the next general election, watch them get replaced and then have the far right blame Labour for the following five years.

      While we play the blame game, the country is filling up with undesirable men from third world countries.

      How many attempts to be an MP? His crowing political moment at 60 a decade ago was Brexit that failed. Massively.

      He appeared on ‘I’m A Celeb’ what happened?

      He finished 6th was it?

      UK press see him like they hoped for Boris Johnson a UK version of Donald Trump to make £££ from with articles and news shows. Problem is Nigel isn’t as charismatic as Boris certainly not Trump.
