A few months ago I did something similar with official WH press conferences, but that only gives us an idea of what the administration was going for with its messaging, not necessarily what the President himself was thinking.
So for my source, I used the actual Truth Social tweets of Donald Trump (https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump) and filtered out anything that isn't an original, text post. Sharing of other posts, image memes, links to Fox articles, MyPillow ads, etc. are all filtered out.
I used Python/pandas/NLTK to clean up some of the data. It's not perfect, especially with the source not being the best spellman (ex. https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-misspells-name-of-his-hottest-crush-sidney-sweeney/), some limitations of NLTK, other nicknames, etc. But I think this is a pretty close estimate.
Again, since this data is based on the President's mostly original words, he does refer to himself in third-person quite a bit.

And, yet, zero mentions of the guy who supposedly tried to assassinate him. For someone with a grievance Rolodex that’s thumbed through constantly, seems kind of odd.
I keep trying to tell people that one key to understanding Trump is that on a 1 to 10 narcissism scale he’s a 500. Thank you for this data.

Of the four women (of 20 names) he mentions, his own wife gets the least attention.
At least Pam Bondi is in his administration and has reason to be mentioned, but imagine when you are making that 3am toilet post still being more obsessed with Hilary Clinton (9 years later) than thinking about your own spouse.

Sounds like a fun project! If you’re diving into scraping Truth Social, be ready for some quirks. I’ve had fewer headaches using Webodofy for stuff like this. It helped me handle some tricky sites without all the usual proxy issues.
He doesn’t write these posts. I wonder if someone can find out where the posts originate from like where in the world or phone/computer
