Okay but if I’m having a heart attack and this woman comes I’m hoping someone else is gonna help her save me. I also wouldn’t trust other her age on the road either.. Maybe there’s a time to say yep that’s my last shift.

  2. I initially thought “too old” but then asked myself would I want her to arrive or nobody to arrive? Then I say good on her.

Some mfs be like “I want to be attended by someone between the ages of 30-50, white, straight, mentally sound, Christian, male—” and then would be surprised that no one is coming when they are bleeding to death.

    Good on her! Lovely stuff

  4. nah, that’s not right, there’s no health and safety, there’s no quick reflexes, quick thinking, decisiveness, there’s no strong, healthy body that can withstand adrenaline, stress of the work environment, it’s just pretty much selfish and beyond stupid to do this at 88 lol

    Good on her.

It’s ridiculous in this day and age that we’re allowing Boomers to retire in their sixties and bankrupt the country by taking support from the young for decades longer.

There are obviously some people who can’t keep working for health reasons or because their jobs are highly physical and hard on the body. But a huge proportion of people could work.

It would not only save the country from being bankrupted but would save people from loneliness. Half of the people in my building are retired and all of them seem bored and to have developed unhealthy lifestyles.
