As a British immigrant who has lived in Malta for almost 10 years, this is painfully accurate.
I can spot “my people” from a mile away… Mostly because they are a luminous shade of sunkissed lobster hahaha

Fun fact: as a child who lived close to a British holiday spot, I thought that British people had bright pink blotchy skin. It was only until my parents clarified that it was sunburn, that I realised that their skin was actually white.
