
Hi everyone! I created a visual framework—the Periodic Table of Intelligence—that maps 25+ aspects of intelligence (like logic, memory, creativity, empathy, and robustness) across humans and AI, illustrating where AI excels, where humans have the edge, and where both are equivalent.
I used the data from AI benchmark studies to design this visualization.

AI’s “reasoning” basically consists in hallucinating reasoning steps that make no sense at all. But, sure, it does that faster than a human, so it’s a win, right?
I’m surprised on several of these, they appear to be only considering the LLM based chatbots currently dominating the media and marketing and the only type of AI 99.9% of humans know of.
This chart is so wrong it’s hilarious. AI isn’t faster than the human brain yet, not in a general sense. I think a better term here would be mental velocity, sheer speed of thought is generally not useful since the search space is infinite. AI currently requires constant guard rails and intervention to make sure it’s actually solving the task it’s been asked to
