      Massive influx of illegal immigrants that aren’t identifiable + police chiefs being told to arrest fewer people to save space.. time to leave the UK people. Country is a fucking mess.

      Legalise some drugs, make others widely available from clinics (as was done in Middlesbrough and Liverpool some time ago) and boom, you’ve got rid of a huge reason behind stabbings, shootings, scams, robberies, burglaries and kidnappings. But no the police would rather spend time policing what grown adults do with their own bodies than stop someone who’s breaking into private property and stealing stuff.

      Arrest people that need arresting and jail them, maybe send all the Albanian drug dealers back to Albania for example

      If they are being arrested and jailed, though, surely that means the prosecution and evidence are both strong? So, it’s hard to say avoid frivolous detentions?

      I hate that its rapists who are not being locked up now, but poor people who steal stuff will still get prison sentences.

      This seems presumptive. Arresting doesn’t necessarily mean guilty.

      Make an arrest, get your evidence together, and CPS can wait years for a court date (provided courts haven’t literally collapsed by then).
