he killed someone, should be named
That paragraph about the breathalyser…….imhatra they’re gonna say some crap like in those 5 hours he stopped to have a drink.
The fact he is not named and nationality not identified confirms all the corruption here. This poor victim and his family.
Time for daddy to take out his checkbook
He wont even be sentenced to Jail. ‘For minors aged 16-18, penalties are typically reduced by one or two degrees compared to adult sentences’ Also this won’t taint his conduct since he is still a minor.
Not even sued in a civil court ” Minors under the age of eighteen cannot sue or be sued except through a parent, tutor, curator or guardian”
Thats the Law huu
He is going to walk free and his defence will play “just a mistake from a kid” and “he drank after because poor boy was so messed up” and “his daddy is X”
Especially so because this was a foreign food delivery guy.
Yesterday I leaked all of the info but people were keen to not believe me. The boy is a Syrian refugee and the news outlets and higherups are doing whatever they can to suppress this. Yesterday I commented that the car did not belong to his father, which in fact is true as it belongs to his uncle now.
The law needs a drastic shakeup by the introduction of vehicular homicide laws that carries the weight of involuntary manslaughter. Otherwise we will keep experiencing such tragedies where the perpetrators get away with lenient fines and comic sentences. Particularly if the perpetrator is part of the rich and powerful cabal in Malta. While I am all in favour of more stringent law enforcement on the roads and all manner of testing however the Republic needs to send out a very tough clear message to perpetrators that such tragic actions will result in accusations of manslaughter. \So far apart of the lawcourt theatrics and futile inquiries, which are never published, we just sit back and wait for the next tragedy to happen. Hopefully this case does not evaporate due to the usual bungling of the prosecution process by the police and the office of the A.G.
“Killer drivers ruin lives. Their actions cause immeasurable pain to families, who must endure tragic, unnecessary losses,”
