NASA Explores Industry Possibilities to Raise Swift Mission’s Orbit

I’m biased because I’m on the Swift mission team, but there could not be more exciting news for astronomy today. Despite its lack of fame, Swift is one of the most important telescopes that we have built in the 21st century. It keeps being able to re-invent itself and do amazing science.

I’m THRILLED that, with everything going on, we’re going to try and keep this special spacecraft going.
