Was a bit confused by NASA’s story title.
“Processing” in NASA speak basically means “assembly”. They’ve already built many parts of the Artemis III SLS, but in July they started to move those parts to Florida for assembly.
This is obviously a multiphase, overlapping, branching assembly process.
And in fact as they mention in the article, this is the first time they’re doing particular parts of assembly at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, instead of at NASA Michoud in Louisiana. They’re doing “engine section internal outfitting and integration with the top of the core stage” at Kennedy for the first time, with Artemis III.
