Why can’t dickheads just leave people who aren’t affecting them hurting them the fuck alone.

I look forwards to this getting thread getting hundreds of comments debating the importation of hateful anti-LGBT culture to our country like every thread when its a non-white person caught doing something horrible.

The UK has celebrated drag culture for forever. Its insane to me we now genuinely have a growing stream, particularly in white working class men, who are getting so radicalized over this kind of issue, and so much of society just seems to want to turn a blind eye to it and focus on evil immigrants instead like they’re the only source of problems.

I do not understand the hatred towards Drag Queen Story Hour. Every year hundreds of thousands of parents take their little children to see pantos across the UK, pantos which always include a character in drag. Cor blimey even in Shakespeare’s day it was men in drag that played female parts at the theatre. Why now has the UK developed this subset of bigots that think that a child simply seeing someone in drag is somehow going to corrupt them for all eternity?

Homophobic attackers are almost always jealous that someone else is so comfortable expressing themself.

Either they’re deep in the closet or have a plethora of other issues to worth through.
